Without getting a loan, what brand would be a good choice for 2 trolling batteries? Use boat approx. 3 weeks out of the year and keep boat plugged into 3 bank charger all year. Any help is deeply appreciated.

I have had good luck with the Duracell Batteries from Sams Club and the Deka Marine batteries from a local marina

I personally wouldn't go crazy. I picked up some Family Farm and Home batteries this year, and they've been great! I've used cabela's deep cycle in the past for about double the cost and can't tell the difference in performance.
I can troll all day in my 16 ft crestliner on a charge. Keep them on a trickle and store them right in the winter and "cheap" batteries should serve you well for years.

Everstart from Wally world too. I believe they are made by Johnson controls

I've had nothing but problems with those in vehicles and therefore will never put one in a boat. Bad luck maybe. Only good thing was they always replaced the battery for free, no questions asked.

Trolling motor batteries would be Optima AGM and Discount Battery in Waterford has best prices, senior discount, and no questions asked if a problem arises during 2 year warranty. Stick with batteries made by Johnson Controls if you can. Can't afford AGM? Then Costco has best prices on Interstate std. deep cycle batteries. Batteries from Wally World and Auto Zone are like a bag of apples, sometimes you get a rotten one.

Place I work makes all kinds of products. Some have much tighter spec ranges than others. Not all are created equal even from the same facility.

I had several of them in an S10 blazer years ago. Replaced under warranty cause they'd die within warranty period. Wife put one in a 2006 Malibu and it failed under warranty as well. Haven't used one since.

Everstarts. Keep the water topped off yearly and keep them on a maintainer and they will last a long time. Last set was 7yrs old before They started to drain faster
