Did you check where it was banded? Can you explain why you put your decoys so far away from the corn, 4th picture?
Tonight at NQP. The duck hunting was slow. But watching this thing eat corn a few rows behind us and then try to bed a doe was pretty cool.
Ooh looks like where I was tonight at FP and seen one take off towards the woods from the zone next to us..Was going to give you props on letting the birds work and killing them in the hole. Unlike our neighbors. .Lol.. Cool picture...
We had weird neighbors tonight. Showed up to the next row over about 2:30 3ish. Gone by 4:30. LOUD. Sounded like they were going to use a Golden Ticket on Wednesday somewhere. We could hear that level of detail in their conversation.
banded caseville this summer. you don't put your decoys where you want the birds to land....you position them to force birds to land somewhere else (pocket) thats my left side stopper (upwind pack).
A sunrise pic is probably the only thing I'm going to get today. Lol. Kids have the week off so figured I'd give this spot a try before it freezes tomorrow morning. Haven't seen a duck yet and only heard a few geese in the distance so far. This spot is usually loaded the week of Thanksgiving.
