    Agreed great genetics on that one... which was disappointing to me as I would have preferred to give him a pass being that he was only a 1.5yr old.I'd chalk it up as an oops moment. I had a doe go flying through full throttle then 10 seconds later he was trailing behind her running just as hard. I saw the flash of antler at about 90 yards and thought he was a decent 8. I had one remaining shooting lane to try and stop him at. I blatted as loud as I ever have at a deer and surprisingly he stopped on a dime giving me a window at his chest at 75 yards. When I recovered him there was definitely ground shrinkage. I had passed numerous 1.5s this year, but messed up on that one. All in all, I'm still very thankful for the deer and the venison it will provide.
