2017 Clinton River steelhead

    The Clinton averages about 3 feet in depth. Slip floats suck when the air temps are real cold. Just use a fixed bobber, and rig it so you can manually slide it up, or down your line to give more depth. A couple small pieces of cut surgical tubing on your mainline, and shove the top, and bottom of the float through the tubing, and you will be all set.

    That water was looking super fishy today near the bridge at Yates, only tried for about an hour before work but it was a good time none the less. A lot of people out today too
