Go in with a plan. Take your time. Get in undetected. Play the wind. Find sign. Set up near cover. Check!

Pay attention to scent control. That deer might circle down wind, walk thru your trail and end up broad side at 23 yards. Check!

When in doubt, back out! If you don't think it's a great hit, don't risk it! Stay up all night rethinking the scenario, and come back in the morning. Check!

Know people. After you come back in the morning, locate the blood trail, walk 75 yds and find the deer piled up, its nice to have some help for the drag out of the thick stuff. Check!

Tag the deer before pictures. My bad...still gotta work on that...

None. I don’t hunt that section a lot, but it was good for the wind that night. I was pleasantly surprised.
