    IMO a weed whip might have a problem with it if it gets tall and matures. This may not be likely with a good amount of browsing and a small plot.

    They are just being coyotes. Sometimes they walk by 3-4 times before working the set. Sometimes it's an area that they don't feel comfortable enough to work the set. Keep your scent away from the area and don't tinker with the sets, is the best advice I can give.

    It's just a fat that is like tallow, not the easiest animal but much better that a big ol gristly beaver.

    I don't think there is a more unpleasant smell than coyote guts. I'd do most anything to avoid it.

    Coyotes are a pain to skin when they are cold. I usually skin to the neck then flip it around because of the blood that will come from nicking the viens in the head and neck area. You can start wherever you want on the legs, ankles are okay. Fleshing isn't too bad.

    Smell. There's the smell of the beaver that were there before and also the smells of the trees there. Until I moved to a place with beaver on my property, I learned a lot about beaver but one of the most significant is the power of their noses.

    Yep, just because all the beaver are gone today doesn't mean that for tomorrow, there's three ready made houses sitting there plus obviously habitat that beaver like.
