What is up with "Newaygo1" user name? It's "12970" now seems like I have seen that in the past with others??

We did the ceiling in the cabin the same as you have, I added the poly and sanded at home on the saw horses then installed, I would not want to apply the finish to a ceiling after install and sure wouldn't want to R&R. Good luck
  4. Mountain Biking, Hiking
All bikes should be illegal on sidewalks at least the narrow ones in residential areas and then in downtown areas, I see no reason all e-bikes can't be on the wider paved trails like the White Pine trail and the likes.
  5. Mountain Biking, Hiking
The throttle part was throwing me off, I bet most ebikes are class 3 as least all the one I was considering and everyone I know that has one.
  6. Mountain Biking, Hiking
The more I read the differences between classes I feel my ebike does not fall into any of the classes as many of e-bikes I looked into prior to buying one would not either. My bike has a throttle (class 2, not class 3) it does limit to 20mph using throttle only (class 1 or 2), but the motor...
  7. Mountain Biking, Hiking
Are they quieter than a non-ebike? I am sure there are also some folks on non-ebikes that have very poor balance, sounds like maybe a riding test should be required to ride a bike? Or just single out people riding an E-bike as the problem, i'm sure no one ever got hurt riding a trail on an...
  8. Mountain Biking, Hiking
I not really familiar with class three, class 1 & 2 the motor will limit to 20 MPH. Class 1 motor only works with pedal assist and I think it will cut out when 20mph is reached??? Will it limit you from pedaling to go >20 or does the motor brake limiting you to 20? only guessing never seen one...

Done, seems like trying to regulate the differences between class 1,2,and 3 don't make sense to me, they have defined what an ebike is and there is very little difference between the 3 classes just toss them all in with regular bikes and be done with it.

Lots of manufactures in this price range, not much difference between them. Pick the style you like then look at the battery try and find one that uses LG, Samsung or another big player in game. The higher Amp Hour the longer range, my battery is 15AH and I can get ~35 miles using pedal assist...

I have heard they are addicting... smoke a pack a day.
  12. Michigan Whitetail Deer Hunting
I would go just to hang out at camp but few are going anymore, my buddy has a camp south of Baraga a few years back we were talking to a local, he was telling us the prior year his entire family (3 generations hunting) saw a total of two deer all season. This is an area where camps have...

Are you saying there was a current draw until you disconnected the regulator?
  14. Upper Peninsula Michigan Streams and Rivers
Stopping at Rainbow Lodge while snowmobiling was one of our favorite stops for gas and pie, sure miss that place. We always wanted to stay there in the winter but then the fire.

YES! and if the fish are biting it's a bonus.

Agree a grounded wire connected to the battery positive is going to blow the main fuse or burn the wire very quick, no other circuits would work until, the short was removed, a fuse opened or the wire burned open. Slim chance there is a wire connected to the positive of the battery shorting to...

IDK, according the the guide the 2022 hunt took 10 - 11 points meaning anyone with 11 or more points got drawn, did you apply as a party hunt, if so the hunter with the lease amount of points is what they use.

I feel 10+ years ago I would hold out for the BMU but licenses have increased from 60 to 395 last year and took 9 points, I know a few people holding onto 12+ points deciding on when to cash them in. I would hold out having 6 points it's doable but it's not what it once was...

They may even work against you having success. I took a walk last weekend the state land that boarders the private land I hunt about 1/2 mile east to west I counted 10 tree stands still out there, 9 of 10 didn't have any owner info on them so they were illegal the day they were placed. I feel...
  20. Michigan Whitetail Deer Hunting
I agree, not going to happen today but someday maybe, as cell cams get more and more tech fair chase will come into play, soon it will be no different than flying a drone over the property prior to heading out for a hunt to see where the deer are and where they may be heading.
