Sounds like it was tough fishing out there today.
I've lost a couple of rods dead sticking while screwing around with my jigging one (too old and too slow I guess). But I still fish with two lol.
I always use 1/2 minnow. I have found that if the bait water stays cold the dead ones don't get mushy.
I'll take your word for it ;)
Find a couple of guys and start messaging them. Start a group with the people and share trip info. It's helped me out alot!
Very proud to say my son leaves for Navy boot camp one month from today. I hope he cherishes every day serving this great country.
Just a heads up. Tomorrow there appears to be some strong storms coming through around 11am.
Damn Roofer, I don't think they use that much ice for Tuna ;)
One of the best pictures I've seen all year! Thanks for sharing.
I've had great experiences with the owners and their employees.
Chrome wiggle warts, thundersticks, and hot n tots work great in sunshine!
Fish will come back in shallow before going out deep in the next few weeks. I can't believe how many catfish are being caught lately. What's up...
I agree with Skin. #0 dipsys and #20 jets. Put a bead about 2' above your swivel. It will help keep your lures weed free a little longer.
Many may disagree, but I would decide what system you want to run. Alot of money just to go out and buy all sorts of different programs. If you...
That's why I went to running straight spoons. Walleyes will hit them anywhere from 1.75 to 3.5.
We need to help keep the lake trash free. It only takes a few minutes to pick one up and dispose of it properly.
Pulled a two man limit between Edison and Fermi in 27-30'. All on spoons. Dipsys anywhere from 55-85 and #20 jets 100' back.
Mark likes to run crawlers. I wonder if that is best tactic in dirtier water. How was water out deep? What foot did you notice water clearing up?
Not there, but reports are muddy waters out to 23+ ft. South winds 5-10 is not bad. A foot tops.
I'll be out early Saturday. I like bolles better than sterling. I can hit open water faster.
Were you still in Michigan waters? Also, what depth is kind of the boundary between Mich and Ohio heading east?
Slim, is that red line RR?
Not surprised with 4 straight days of strong east winds. Hopefully winds will switch and be calm for a few days.
Yeah she was angry this past weekend!
Satellite shows pretty dirty water.
Good bass fishing. Cast plastics near the numerous stumps.
I've seen speeds with spoons anywhere from 1.3 to 3.0 mph. Surprised so many walleyes are being caught on slower speeds in June.
Many of the walleye will come back in shallow like 16'18' after Mayfly hatch until about the 2nd week of July. Weeds become the issue later in season!
No need to go that far out. 20-23' is good enough. Jig is right. There's no reason to run those long leads with boards. You'll get it, just keep...
I will when those weeds start floating!
