Got out finally, just after daylight, had some pass through at daylight, no not deer, joggers, who has the ambition to jog at daybreak. Than the cops showed up and said it was illegal to hunt the city park and escorted me out.
Stinks I've seen some good deer on that place
If I could hunt a city park, I'd never leave my backyard in sterling heights. There's some legit bucks in there. County parks are legal in Oakland county though. Where are you trying to hunt?
Congrats OGB! Living vicariously through LFTS this year since my one and only bow hunting buddy (my son) is busy with his kids and the farm. Too damn old to drag one back on my own. Ah well, there's always gun season. Anyways, nice doe!
Just got home gonna gear up and head out to my stand where I saw the big boy this morning. Hope he shows himself and hope he walks where he was this morning. Good luck all!
Just got in the stand. They are cutting corn a quarter mile to the west and beans a couple hundred yards south of them. Hopefully something moves this way
Mrs. Jet is locked a loaded in the ground blind over looking the transition plot. I decided to enjoy the afternoon and sit with her. Heres to my next update being a red soaked arrow!
Set up overlooking a long skinny plot the deer are supposed to use when transiting from beding to feeding. I have hunted a lot this season, Just one doe and now I want to kill something!
Just got in the stand. Got a forky out already. Looks like both my rub trees have been abused! Licking branches are broken. I’m thinking a big buck needs to pay for that and my wet azz!
