I hear a bang about 8:30 this morning from the south. A about a minute later I get a text from Joey that he shot the "wide" six. So I tell him to sit tight and I'll bring the 4 wheeler down. By the time I get down there I see him out of the blind. I said I thought I told you to sit tight. He says but dad I shot another one. He shot a busted up 10 we had pictures of on the cam. Our season has been really slow until this morning.
Joe read your posts and thanks you all for your kind words. I asked him how he felt when the bucks came in. He said when the first one came in he couldn't stop shaking but when the second came in he said to himself "alright I've got this".
Nope that's Otto's spot now. Joey is down the power line near the south end of the property. Good luck in the UP. Hope you get some good hunting weather up there.
Congratulations on an outstanding morning! I wonder how many times he'll tell the tale of today's hunt between today and when he's an old man!
