Not a Chanterelle. Chanterelles do not grow on wood and they have folds or veins instead of gills. They are also more yellow in color then the mushroom pictured. Take a look at WoodButchers and Rippinlipps Chanterelle pictures on another thread. Or I'll see if I have one somewhere. Right now I can't access my Photobucket Account for some reason. These are Cantharellus phasmatis, the Ghost Chanterelle.
