Hey there...the weekend was good had a good time. Seem lots of deer. BUT it was to cold to do much of anything. Typical M i weather was suppose to be in the high 70s so of course did not bring lots of warm weather clothes. It did not get out of the 60s and was dreary.
How was your weekend? Do anything fun?

Oh dont I know it. As soon as I get the fourth out of the way I will be out in the woods checking out things....I am so tired of shooting foam (not that I have stopped but I am itching to get out there.)
AND ARE YOU NUTS to be painting your house in 100 degree temp !!! My plant is down the 29th - July 13th but I am going to be working at the office in Plymouth for some of that time. Not sure what or how much vacation time I want to use up.....I do know that I will be headed to Grayling the 2nd and coming up the 6th other then that not sure....

Oh no not yet...LOL Need it to be about 40 degrees hotter....LOL HOW MANY DAYS TILL BOW OPENER ????????

I like it alot. I have learned alot from here and love the cam pictures. I was a lurker for a year or so before I joined.

Not sure that I would be able to make it another 9 days..LOL I am headed 75 NORTH 24 hours from now and not looking back. Well until monday sometime. I applied for my elk tag last week.....we will see what happens, But it will probably go neck in neck with my applying for doe tags the last 4 years..

No I did not make it out to chase any birds. well I had intended to but nothing but rain when I made it to Grayling. Heading up that way tomorrow after work to start getting ready for October ~ Maybe see if I can find any fawns and city away from the city !!

Thats right. I hunted up in North Branch once.....but that was years ago. I just got an offer to hunt up around Ionia 300 acres.
Might head out there to wack a turkey. however I have never tried Turkey hunting....but he has tons and wants them GONE.
I have hunted state land in Grayling the last few years. Brother just bought a small parcel/with a little cabin up there that backs up to about 500 acres that is all land locked by private owners.
Doing my first out of state bow hunt this year as well., heading to KY for that.
