Hey man, Watched quite a few of your youtube vids. You wouldn't happen to be chasing chrome this weekend, would you? 10/5 or 10/6?

Looking to get out there and catching something from my yak, but not sure I want to make the trek out there alone. If your not no worries, i'll be heading to Saginaw for some eyes otherwise.

Thanks again for turning my son on to kayaks. We have a boat that we fish out of often but the kayak seems so much more intimate. I am very much looking forward to learning as much as I can. PS. I smile everytime I see your son catch a fish on your videos! Reminds me of mine a few years ago :)

Thanks so much for the comments Vertical jig! I am just now seeing this for the first time so I apologize for not answering right away. I'm glad you guys are getting into kayak fishing, it's a complete blast! It is so much more intimate as you said and much more exciting than just fishing out of a standard boat.
You can very easily paddle and troll. I used to do it all the time before I purchased my Hobie.

You are smart to start small....this way you will learn all the little things about your kayaks that you like and dislike as well as what you feel comfortable doing in it. Good luck and let me know how you like it and any success you have fishing!

We will start fishing bass and crappies on small lake around us to get a feel for handling but would like to eventually get one Lake Huron and tangle with one of those big Lakers. Can a person troll easy with the paddle or is it something you have to have foot pedals like yours? What time of the year is best to fish Lexington?

Lexington is a very good fishing spot in the spring. The trout and salmon are found in the shallows up and down the coast. Do start with the small waters though. You will find out all the things you will need to help your trolling adventures this way. A drysuit is a good idea in cold waters.

Hello Maximus. I too, love watching your videos. Infact, my 13 year old son is such a fan that the only thing he wanted for Christmas this year was a kayak. We did get him one but not as nice as yours. It is more of a started angler SOT one. Now I have to also get one so he doesnt have to go alone.

Hey Maximus, Thanks for the reports about casting at night for 'eyes. Fri, Sun, & Mon are going to be fairly calm nights. I live near Campau Bay, and will also try on the way south to the Blk Creek(Metro). I'd like to keep an eye out for ya, to give me an idea if I'm in the right areas. Where do you usually start...if you don't mind sharing. I don't have a kayak, but I'll be in my fishing boat.

Hello, I have been watching your videos on you tube and enjoy them. I have just bought 2015 Pa12 and would like to try Harbor Beach. I can not tell from the videos if you fish in the Harbor or out on lake Huron? Any tips would be appreciated thanks
