Yes! Did great last week off Catawba. Hit Bolles last Tuesday picked up one trolling dumps. Went Thur to Brest bay and nothing. Not a lot of action on our side yet.Need some stable weather. My Granddaughter already hit me up to fish Sat 3-26. Hoping The blade bait is going then. What is your schedule look like? Last year my spring was cut short with work.

Just like using a bottom bouncer . the speed was just enough to keep contact with bottom, while just lifting the blade bait . would be similar also if you cast the jay blade and hopped it back to the boat. Keeping the blade bait, vibe, sonic, in the bottom three inches of water, while letting it vibrate. the Terrova created the movement which allowed the bait to move past the fish and trigger the reaction bite.If I were to drift like the other boats I would have been jigging the same spot where the fish would scatter. Some could be caught just drifting but non productive.Hope this helps. The keys is a drift speed at .5 to .8 to cover are to find new fish, otherwise you are just in the same spot.

Hi kisherfisher, great report you put out about using your auto-pilot. I bought one about five years ago and never regretted it. But I was wondering if you could explain your method of "jigging with blade baits at 45 degrees". Are you moving along at .70 mph thus pulling the blade bait slightly behind your boat while jigging it? If you don't mind teaching an old dog a new method, it would be appreciated if you would explain your method please. Thanks in advance. Jim Clement
