Jay, over the last 2 weeks I have sent 3 emails to the DNR about a concern I have (actually many of us have) regarding a Southeast River and steelhead fishing. Can you direct me to someone that will actually respond to an email. Thank you

Jay, I'm coming up to Plainwell Friday—do you have time for a little chat? Keep fighting the good fight! Dave Mull, Great Lakes Angler Magazine.

Jay, are they going to get the Berrien Fish Cam up and running. This is an important tool for many so that we know when fish are on the move.

We target any fish that are ripe during the egg take. From a genetic standpoint, we don't try to target fish. We try to randomly select them so that we get a good representation of the population. All that being said, the males are usually smaller. Females are 3 to 15 pounds in size.

The walleye that we stock from the ponds are spring fingerlings and are about 1 to 1.5 inches in length.
