DEDGOOSE, I got some tips from you last Spring and they were much appreciated. This is my 2nd season and still tying to get my first gobbler. I wanted to recircle with you on scouting/shock calling. My plan is to get out soon in the extreme early hours and shock call birds while they are still in the roost...with an owl hoot. i have a good idea of where they will be but just need to fine tune on their location...i was a bit to far off last Spring.

I ain't going to make it to G.R. I forgot how to walk on ice, wiped out and badly bruised my tail bone earlier this week. Three plus hours sitting in my truck would suck more than missing the contest. (Which pretty much sucks too)

Thanks DEDGOOSE for the tip on the choke. I just ordered it and it sounds like they just spit them out for production two days ago. I'll pattern it out of my M2000 next weekend and keep you posted. I may order the other recommended as well and do some trialing of my own.
