Mike, I've been hearing that all winter long. The fat lady has sung so I guess it's time to think spring and get my ducks lined up for the new member of the family that will be joining us shortly.

Seeing that I'm back on my feet now, I ran making a weekend trip by Connie (just to see what we have on the schedule) and the next couple of weekends look clear at this time, if we can set something up.

Hey Mike, bad link. I was going to call you to see if you wanted to meet up and go then I got nailed but a nassty upper respetory infection and I just got back on my feet the other day. I'm still hacking my lungs out, being sick sucks.

I've thought about it. Wild Bill asked me a few time to go to the MS outing up there but I wasn't able to make it. The one time I can make it without having to jump through hoops, we get this kind of weather... If their was good ice, I'd like to learn how to do it.

Went exploring 2 wk. ends ago with Ficious over on St. Clair, ended up on Harsens, went in up to my knee getting on the ice, fished all day with a boot full of water (thank goodness for good boots) but did get 22 nice gills. I don`t trust anything over there now we have had 3 warm spells and at least as many rains. Ya ever thought about smelt fishing up on Higgins? I`m not even sure about the ice up there. Hope things are still hunky doory on the home front.

Not at all. If I see him, lets just say that I already have special place to use my auger on him! I did get out on Sunday for a couple of hours. I couldn't find the fish and the bite was really slow but I'm really getting the hang of the X67C, that thing is the cherries!!!
