Looking for the "key" screw that holds the receiver and barrel together on Davenport/Norwhich 12 gauge single shot as seen in this photo. Anyone able to direct me to one in captivity?

Not having any luck in finding one I figured I would end up fabricating one. Thought I would throw the picture out there and see if some of the gun guys had one stuffed away in a drawer. Thanks for the Intel you passed along.

Try Numrich in New York. They appear to have it in stock.

Is this the part?

When I am looking for parts, I start with Dick Williams Gun Shop in Saginaw. From there I go to Numrich.

I hope this helps.
They made a few variations to the key....single and double barrel configurations. Unfortunately the one you sent is not the right one. Thanks for taking the time researching this. Much appreciated.

Look over the first link that I sent. The part that you need may not be in stock but may be listed. I would call Numrich and see if they can give you a lead on the part.

I would also call Dick Williams Gun Shop. They custom fitted an extractor on an ancient, obscure double barrel for me a year or so ago.

Another source of is Jack First in South Dakota. They specialize in obscure firearm parts.

I wish you the best in your search.

Good information! I will check both. Appreciate the direction.

I have made a lot of inquiries regarding this part, no one seems to have it. The owner gave me the ok as it was his grandads gun to go ahead and make one. Won't have the decorative inscription on the finished product but it will be functional.
