Pros:
Cons:

I have been shooting a Jim Fletcher for 12 years. The only reason I am on my second one is because I lost the first. It is easy to adjust the trigger release and I have only adjusted it once in approximately 10 years. A very smooth release. The open Jaw design does not cause string jump.

Pros: Quiet, Great Trigger adjustments.
Cons: The strap

I have been shooting with the Jim Dandy for a few months now and it has been a good release. One thing I really like about this release is that it is pretty quiet when you pull the trigger and does not click like a lot of releases on the market. The trigger adjustment can be easily adjusted to the pull you like, and the release head can be adjusted to be closer or further from your hand so that the trigger is where you want it. The one thing I did not like about this release is that the strap digs into my hand, I have used quite a few different releases and have never had this problem with any other release. After shooting for a short period of time the wrist strap rubs my hand raw. If I wear gloves as I do while hunting then this is not a problem. Overall I would say that this is a pretty good release, but I will continue searching for the ultimate hunting release.

Hunting is not a matter of life or death, it is much more important than that.
