Its awesome. I take off the tube and set it on fawn bleet and it keeps the does interested. I had them coming at me uphill before.

Owned many brands of deer calls, this one really works

This is the first and only product I have ever endorsed. I have set it as a doe grunt and have called in two nice bucks with it.
I used it as a fawn in distress once and a nice coyote came in to check things out.

Yes set to the doe tone it seems to be just about perfect for calling in most of the Michigan bucks I have seen.

I have used my bow-grunter+ for several years, but this year the 3rd I went to use it and after about the second day of the season the sound quality just got poor for some reason. The reed must have worn out or something. This call is easy to use without a lot of movement but I also found it hard to find with my mouth while at full draw unless it was pinned on absolutly perfect (I hunt with a scent lok face cover on, without it, it is easy to use). I have also added the H.S. True Talker call for use during the rut as it is a little more aggresive. As far as grunting at full draw, I have been devoloping my own vocal bleats and will never go back to a call again for stopping deer for the shot. Overall this is a good call, and it does work well in MI. Since posting this I have been contacted by a a-way member and they offered to replace the call for me. Now that is great customer service.

Good sound, hands free

|
Cons:

needs to be pinned on perfectly to stay out of the way of your bowstring on release
|

I've had my bowgrunter+ for three years now. I've called in more deer with this call than any other I've used. I agree that the doe bleat setting is the best. I called in a nice 8 point this season and he was with two does.

Easy to use, almost idiot-proof!!
|
|
Cons:

Parts break somewhat easily.

Sounds great! Works great! Only problem is, strapping on my backpack, snaps off the little clip-on elbow joint in very cold weather. Have to buy another call, because I can't find replacement parts. I'd buy a few parts just to have with me. I'd hate to have it go bad during a Canadian hunt.

could be a little louder

I wouldnt go in the woods without it, and i actually have 3 more still in the package because i fear losing it and it not being sold anymore. i just wish it could be a little louder for those deer that are out there a ways.
