Description: The Seat-O-The-Pants safety harness is a true 4-point full body harness. Adjustable leg and shoulder straps allow you to customize your hunting harness to early season or late season clothes. Completely adjustable safety line with prusic knot cinches tight when pressure is applied. Comes with attached storage pouch. Can be utilized with a rope running the entire climb up your tree to allow you to stay "hooked in" for the entire climb.

Pros: Allows you to stay connected during your entire climb whether there are lots of branches or not. Very secure. You can rotate 360 degree once in your stand without a problem.
Cons: Instructions are difficult to read. Too much excess strap length.

Overall a great product. I feel much more secure in the tree. The strap that attaches to the tree has breakaway sewing to slow a fall. The instructions and pictures are very difficult to read and follow. I found the only way to figure out how to use the harness was to get it out and just start playing with it. I found the leg straps to be unreasonably long, but not too much of a problem once in the stand. Summit should provide a way to wrap up the excess leg strap length to prevent people from tripping over it.

Pros: easy to use. Very safe.
Cons: Price.

I just picked up a SOTP harness at Cabellas yesterday after a long search for a easy to use harness. I wont know until next season if it fit the bill or not but I think that it will. The straps on the legs are long but can easily be cut to the desired length. I like the buckle in front and the ease of tree attachment. The price is high, but that is to be expected from a quality product like this.

Pros: Makes you feel very secure
Cons: Excess strap length

A must have for all treestand hunting. This was one of the first items purchased this year for my 12 year old son's first bow season. Great peace of mind for a concerned parent. The excess strap length could be dealt with better, and the tether from the tree is a little long. I consider this one of the mandatory items for every trip!

Pros: Easy to use, storage in bag,
Cons: none I have found after a week of using it bear hunting.

I like this product over the cheaper full harness I bought a few years back. I am going to buy the clibing system that goes with it.
