Description:
The Drop Zone arrow rest is the most revolutionary rest on the market today. The patent pending Vertical Drop Technology allows the rest to fall away leaving plenty of clearance. The Drop Zone has a full inch of clearance from the arrows release point to the resting position. The Drop Zone is a self contained fall away that is non riser-dependant. This means that there is no rotating arms that impact the shelf of the bow riser adding extra noise to the bow. The Drop Zone has built in Dual Harmonic Damper technology that shuts down vibration at the center of the riser. The extremely easy setup is making the Drop Zone the preferred fall away rest in many pro shops. The Drop Zone comes standard with a self adhesive Arrow Rack System that mounts the shelf to keep the arrow quiet on the draw and release. This revolutionary Arrow Rack System also keeps the arrow in a center shot to the riser, and also keeps the arrow from falling off of the bow's shelf.

Pros:

Great Arrow Flight
Cons:
Makes a slight noise when it drops.
So far I have not had any problems with this rest. I have obtained great arrow flight using this rest. It is fairly quiet on the draw, and it is very hard to nock the arrow off the rest. The only thing I do not like about this rest is that when it drops it makes a slight noise at the bottom, I have tried to quiet this noise but have been unsuccesful. The other thing I will be looking for which has not happened to me is that I have heard that the rest begins to bind up on the teflon slide. This has not happened to me yet, but if it does I will be replacing it.

I have been using this rest for 2 years and have not experienced any problems with it. The rest is very quiet and reliable. Never going back to those prone things.

Pros:
Paper tuning was a breeze
Cons:
Bulky, Pretty loud, I was not able to achieve complete fletching clearance
I had the 2006 model I believe... many problems with this rest.
1. Teflon bunched up inside the rest, and had to wait 3 days to get replacement in the mail (very good customer service though).
2. Loud Chink noise from the launcher arm dropping.
3. I was never able to achieve perfect fletching clearance even after hours of adjusting. I always found white residue from my fletchings on the launcher arm.
On a more positive note, I got fantastic arrow flight from this rest, and was shooting bullet holes through paper (even with the minor fletching contact).
Laslty, After adjusting and taking this rest apart countless times, a few screws are stripped, and I do not feel comfortible using it anymore.
If someone would like to come pick it up, you may have it for parts or even to use on your bow ( I believe it is still in working order). Just PM.
