Description: This nifty little product available at http://www.tanksetter.com keeps those pesky propane tanks from rolling around in your vehicle. It is supposed to work with most tanks from 5 to 40 lbs. I tested it with a 20 lb tank.

Pros: Keeps you propane tank put instead of rolling around
Cons:

Nice product. Even has screws to secure the plastic base to your tank in case you want to keep the tank from getting overturned say by someone tripping over a propane hose while it is connected to something.

Pros: Keeps your tank upright!
Cons: Color if your hunting & hard to find a store that sells them.

Hey Guys if you don’t have a tank setter you’re missing out. I picked one up last year for ice fishing because I was sick of my tank flipping over on my $50 Mr. Heater… Needless to say a few weeks later another fishing buddy Paul was so impressed he had to have one, well I mistakenly sold him mine and paid the price the following day when the wind was blowing at 40mph on the lake. If you’re as tired of worrying about burning down your ice shanty or portable deer blind as I am this thing is a small price to pay when it comes to safety. I have used it camping for a lantern stand, with my turkey fryer and it is bomb proof! You’ll only need to use this thing once and like me you’ll be impressed. This is a great product although hard to find!

Pros: No Tank Tipping
Cons:

This works great for hauling your tank around and other things as well. It works great for turkey friers and heaters too. No worries about your tank tipping over and ruining anything. It is money well spent!

Save those old plastic milk crates. Just slip your 40# propane tank inside ( fits beautifully ) and away you go. No tipping and the handles on the crate make for a good lift.

Pros:
Cons:

This thing sounds good from the start, but it doesn't work out. The bolts rust, it doesn't keep the thing from tipping all that much, and the bright color is a killer. I wondered if there was anything else (I don't have milk crates laying around) and I found this, the Tank Nanny:

http://www.tanknanny.com

Here's the winner. No bolts, it never tips, and it offers a seat belt slot to buckle your tank it (or strap it in the truck) when you are on the go. My wife is much happier refilling the tank when I ask her to, and the color isn't highlighter yellow. Well worth it, and great investment!
