Description:
When arrows slide between the compressed layers of foam, this creates heat, causing the arrows to be stopped by friction, not force. Our patented "friction foam" literally grabs the arrow, stopping it with virtually no damage to the target,
The foam is self-healing and stops ("grabs" any arrow, even Broadheads! Scores of archers, range owners, and clubs now use nothing but open layered targets.

Pros:
Durable, very effective
Cons:
Heavy
I have owned the "Block" for several years and have shot the heck out of it. It still has lots of life and I have never had an arrow pass through or even come close (I shoot carbons). Arrows are very easy to pull out and by turning it 90 degrees you can practice w/ broadheads as well. This target will far outlast any bag target.
The only downside, if there is one is that it is a bit heavy and it takes up a lot of shelf spacce.
Very good value for the $$$'s spent!

Pros:

Great for field tips. Terrible for Broadheads
Cons:
Broadhead practice will tear this target up.
This is a great target for field tips but terrible for broadheads. When you go to pull out your broadhead it tears alot of the target out with it. I tried turning it 90 degrees and that did not make any difference. I've had quite a few pass throughs also. I shoot a hoyt razortec with carbon arrows.

Pros:
Easy Arrow removal
Cons:
Not good for broad heads
I've had one for over two years, left it out in the weather longer than I'd like to admit. Holding up great, just don't use it for broadhead practice
------------------------------ Personally, I carry a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take a butt kickin'.

I just bought one and am using it for field point and broadhead practice with a high speed bow and carbon arrows. I don't have trouble getting either out of it.

Great target. I shoot carbons and no problem pulling either type of broadhead out. Never a pass thru. I've got the bigger model.
