This site does not collect personally identifiable information about individuals except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals.  An example of this is the information provided when a user signs up for our forums.  Another example is winners of our contests, who may have to provide information to us, which we may in turn need to provide to a third party for shipping prizes.  The Michigan Sportsman does not bear any responsibility for any actions or policies of any third parties.

If you buy merchandise through our bookstore, or clothing items in our other stores, you will have to provide personal information to Amazon.com, or other affiliated merchants.

We collect anonymous aggregated data and provide it to our advertisers and other companies that we do business with for market research and statistical purposes.  For example we might report to an advertiser that 50% of our users fly fish.

You should be aware that any information about yourself that you post on our forums or in the campfire can be collected by others and may result in unsolicited messages from others.  For your own privacy do not post your address or phone number in one of these very public places.  We may also monitor campfire conversations as all are recorded.
