Body – deer hair, spun and trimmed like a “Irresistable”
Wing – grizzly hackle tips, tied spent, in front of the hackle
Hackle – grizzly
Comment – This fly pre-dates 1970. The fly was tied and sold in Art Winnie’s shop. Some say that Art originated this fly, but there is no evidence to that effect. Trim the hackle top and bottom for the ‘hex hatch.’ Submitted by Tom Deschaine.
