Hook – English bait hook
Thread - black or brown 6/0
Weight – none
Tail - pheasant tail fibers
Body – 1/2 inch wide piece of natural latex
Shell Back/Wingcase – pheasant tail fibers
Hackle – brown saddle hackle palmered throughout body

Comment – The shell back is frequently substituted with a dark brown line drawn along the top with a permanent marker. Thanks to Rickey Drager for this fly.
