Tail – golden pheasant tippets
Body – peacock herl rear 1/4 red floss forward
Wing - white calftail, divided, tied spent
Hackle - brown

Comment – This fly was Leonard Halladay’s version of the Royal Coachman. Dr. Kirgen, a physician from Cincinnati, was a close friend of Len Halladay. The two of them often fished the Boardman River back in the 20′s and 30′s. Submitted by Tom Deschaine.
