Cornie’s Quill Fly Pattern

Hook - Mustad #94840 or #94833

Tail - brown hackle fibers
Body – stripped peacock herl

Comment – The originator of this fly is “Cornie” Schrems of Grand Rapids. He only fished dry flies and never tied his own. He relied on others like Art Neumann and Dan Bailey to develop his creations. He was a friend of George Griffith, and is said to be one of the first eight people who organized “Trout Unlimited”. Thanks to Tom Deschaine for this submission.
