Hook – Mustad #94840 or #94833
Size – #10 – #14
Thread – yellow 6/0
Tail – extended hair tips from the body, trimmed flat on the bottom.
Body - deer body hair, dyed yellow, flared at the tail.
Rib – black floss (3 or 4 turns)
Wing – woodchuck, tied down, do not extend beyond the length of the hook.
Hackle – furnace
Comment – This pattern is another in the “Bee Series” developed by Tom Deschaine. Designed as a late summer fly. This is very productive and basically unsinkable. Thanks to Tom Deschaine for this submission.
