Hook – mustad #37160
Size – #10 – #12
Thread – black 6/0 unithread
Tail – 2 pheasant tail fibers
Body – 1/8 strip latex
Hackle – red/brown hackle (Rhode island red chicken)
Comment – Trim hackle off the top and sides of the fly. Color the top of the fly with a furniture repair marker (walnut). Coat the top of the fly with head cement. Thanks to “Chef” from our forums for this fly.
