Birch Run show
It was nice to see Jeff (VHD) come on up with his family to watch Skyler and the other dogs at the show. I just couldn't get little Hunter to make it much longer at the show in that little stroller. . .little guy needed a nap.  I also talked with Mike and Tecumseh on Sunday morning. . . great looking V.
Honey, sorry I didn't get to meet you. . .we had to stay away from the ring while Sky was in there and just kept getting the "Thumbs UP" from Jeff on Saturday.
Skyler wound up taking a 3 point major on Saturday in her third show. . .I guess I will have to go ahead and let her do this show thing to get her Ch. title. The good thing is that working on steadiness helps with both the field and ring. . .and that's never a bad thing.
Jeff was also good luck for another NAVHDA member that took a 4 point major on Saturday with a 6 month old GWP and a 3 point major with another young GWP on Sunday.
On a side note. . .I knew Sky was about ready to come into heat. . . got back home on Sunday and here it is. 
NAVHDA training starts next week for us Westsiders.

Good job Randy and Sky! Would've made it if it were next weekend, as we're going to be over that way for a wedding.

Congratulations on the major, I was there Sunday to watch the G.W.P.s and the German Shepherds. My Wires older full sister took breed both days.

Yeah, I deserve a little ribbing, but I just have to prove that hunting dogs can do both so I can prove some people wrong. Oh wait, I don't have a hunting title on her yet, maybe she can't hunt. 
Jeff was right about being able to see which weims get out in the field and which ones don't, some have no backends. . .different judges like different things as well, just part of the game. My breeder is looking at some studs from Texas from field trial lines right now. . .I'll let her figure all that out when the time comes.
