Default P S E Carbon Force Arrows

I finally purchased some PSE Carbon Force arrows, they fly great and all but the problem they won't pull out of a burlap style target without ripping it apart. After inspection I noticed the point insert is larger than the arrow shaft, but is beveled down to it apparently by design.Does anyone know why PSE would have a larger insert than shaft diameter. The archery shop assures me the right inserts are installed and tell me nobody else has complained and that they sell a lot of them,am I missing something here?

BB,
check to make sure that your field point does not extend beyond the lip of the insert. this is usually the cause. i sell the carbon force arrows and have never had a problem, other then guys using too big a field point. we normally use the 5/16 field points on carbon arrows.

I shoot those (among others) as well...they poltrude the inserts just a bit as it creates a slightly larger hole at the front making it a bit easier to pull from a foam 3D target.

I can see a little more clearly on the subject now, that would make sense. At first I thought the inserts were wrong but I didn't think the shop would goof up.It is a pain to pull out of a 3D target with my 2314 Super Slams with everything the same size,so maybe its a good thing?

I also shoot those and the flange on the inserts are the same diameter as the shaft. I have bought them at different places and they are all the same none of them have a larger flange then the arrows. My field points are also the same diameter.
