Default Just alittle venting

Back in Feb. I took one of my bows (Oneida Eagle) in to have a new Timming Cable put on. The place I took it into sent it to Oneida Eagle to have them due the work on it. I called to check on it again and they still have not received it back for Oneida, but Oneida claims that they did receive it when it was sent to them. The guy from the place I took it to has done a great job on other things I have had him do. He has been triing to check on it status but gets the run around when he calls up there. This weekend he said he will drive up there to check on things.

Arrowhawk
You have a reason to vent. The season is coming fast. The place that sent your bow should have a tracking number so you can find out where your bow is and who signed for it.

The bow is a back up to my new Hoyt, but still pisses me off.

Oneida has claimed that they did receive it, but they don't know what has happened to it.

Sounds like they may be giving you a new bow!

Something is not quite right with this story. I can tell you the guys at Onieda take there service serious. Have you talked with Matt or Will to see when they actually got it, what the problem is and when will they ship it? They will answer you truthfully.

Everyone in my family shoots Oniedas. I have never heard any horror stories about Pollington's since they bought Onieda. I even sent a new bow out to a friend in North Dakota. The bow was very loud and he thought something was wrong. He called Pollingtons and sent it back. They completley rebuilt the bow up again and even threw in a bodoodle rest and sent it back at no cost.

Oniedas are easy to work on, but I would always send my bow back directly to them for service.

I just talked with Will this morning. If you can't get an answer maybe I could talk with them for you.

A letter to the General manager of oneida and let him know about the ****** service might help another archer get better service.

You can bet that if they did get your bow and can't find it they will take care of you.

It shows they are honest enough to say they did receive it but can't find it for some reason. They could have always just denied it.

Was it an older bow, like the aeroforce?

Arrowhawk, are you sure the dealer you are dealing with sent it when they said they did etc, or could they be passing the blame along to Oneida. Like I said in my post in the whitetail forum, I have heard nothing but good things concerning pollingtons service. Mistakes happen, but I'm guessing that it will get handled when the right people are contacted.

Well I contacted Oneida directly last night to ask them about it.
The lady I talk to was great (didn't catch her name though), she told me that they haven't received anything from that shop yet this year but that someone from there called yesterday (7-19-04) to request an RA number to ship them several bows all.

So another phone call is in order to the archery shop today.

Sounds like the shop that has provided good service in the past is giving me the run around.

I too have had nother but good experience with Oneida but things like this are ______ up.

That was what I was getting at. I believe the place to start hounding is your proshop, not Oneida.

I have been dealing with Oneida for 21+ years and I know CP Oneida very well!

They do very good service and will return the bow in good working order! Yes they do care about the service they give, and anymore troubles call and ask for Matt.

Do not give up on the Oneida guys, sounds like the shop dragged it's feet!

I know for sure that happens, I had a shop wanting to send me a bow to repair and it took him a month to get it to me! Man was the owner of the bow up set!

So do follow up on your dealer is OK...keeps them on their toes! LOL
