The perch have started to bite on Lake Gogebic there has been pretty good catches been reported on the North end,the jumbos are hard to find right now but the 8 to 11 inch class have been biting. Walleyes are biting well there hasn't been a best time they seem to bite good early in the morning and late afternoon as well. The size has been not a problem on catching fish from 15 to 20 inches. Just thought i would share this information with you all.

The walleye bite has slowed down but the jumbos are biting. Porky Pine Point on the north end of LAKE GOGEBIC is producing perch up to 15 inches and over 2 lbs.The easiest access is at the ontonagon county park and go straight across the lake.Should have no problem finding where the fish are biting since there will be alot of ice shacks.
