Wigglers was by far the best for me last year. Really haven't hit the lake hard yet this year but when the ice thickens and mid winter hits (Feb.), I would bet that wigglers will just about outproduce any other bait...

Well it all depends on what you're fishing for? Perch-I would have to say minnows or wigglers for sure, Bluegill-waxworms, Crappie-minnows

I have always caught bigger fish on minnows. For pure quantity it would be wigglers for me but the fish are not usually as big.

I mostly fish for Crappie, so definitely minnows for me.

Corn borers have always produced for me. That is the few times I've been able to get them

Not sure what species your asking for the bait to be used to catch Would have to agree with GWH on this one. It looks like a general panfish choice of baits so I vote as one choice only to take out of the list for panfish in general would be waxworms. If I knew what species to target specifically I could vote otherwise. After all, I would chose minnows for Pike instead of spikes or mousies

I prefer waxies (or mousies/spikes) mostly because they're so extremely portable, which is nice in the winter. Put a bunch in a skoal can and put 'em in your pocket. The last couple weekends though I've been nailing nice size crappies on those red rosies, so I might have to start bringing my minnow bucket along more often!
