Welcome to the site Ruff Rider
Due to work I dont get to fish the mornings except for on the weekends. So for me the best time is always afternoon/evening. Form 5 to 6 o'clock you better hang on!!!

I couldn't really vote because I have done good in the morning and in the evening. Have not done really good in the afternoon though. So I would say Morning's and Evening's.

The little I have fished the river, seems early morning, and late evening's have been best. Fish sleep in afternoon.

Definately evening. I gauge it by the sun. As soon as it disappears on horizon until dark. Never seems to fail

I can't agree with you more! 10 years ago the fishing was SSSSOOOOO much better than it is now. But that won't keep me from still trying.
RR: Over the years I have found that the Morning bite lasts longer. Usually from day break until as late as noon where the nite bite is the last 45 min. to an hour before dark. It all depends on the school that you are on at the time.....Patch
