Default Todays catch

Caught 25 gills and a hammer handle today, lost 2 big fish on my pole, dunno what they were. My buddy caught 19, about 5 of them crappie. Fished from daylight till dark and the bite was slow.

Right before dark the crappies really turned on, I lost 10 minnows but couldn't hook the darned things.... I'm not much of a crappie man...although I do try.

Nice job Stump Jumper. I didn't fair as well today. I caught 2 crappie from about 4:30 am to 9:30 am. Still had fund, however. Maybe Monday I'll do better. Taking tomorow off. Maybe I'll sleep in a little and watch some football in the pm.

Stump Jumper, try using the smallest treble hook you can find. you will not miss many speks using a very tiny treble

I have read that in here and tonight I was wishing I had small trebles.... They were hitting one right after another.

Default You know it!

Fish Patrol...I was there at 4:30am but Gus was there at around 2:30-3:00am. Didn't do him much good, however. If you ever want to go, give me a shout!

Heck I try and get out every weekend if the "Boss" lets me.

Next weekend will be tough because I have to watch my boys all weekend. The "Boss" is heading out for a girls weekend away. I might take the boys out on the lake for a few depending on the weather.
