Hit some water between the Dam and the Whirlpool today from 8am to 5pm. The water is up about 2 foot I would say but it is still pretty clear and fishing good. There are just a few more redds than the last time I posted a report. Most fish are still holding in the deeper runs . I don't know that exact water temps but I there seems to be a lot of different stage fish holding around the redds(IE, Loose hens, Tight hens, dark bucks, rottened out nasty bucks , Skippers etc). WIth the ice gone from Foote pond things will get better by the day!
I met some pretty cool people on the river today and just a couple inconsiderate morons(That's gonna happen). I have noticed that the guide/ Bank fisherman situation is getting much better! I applaud them guys . I haven't heard a single complaint about them all year. Hope that's going to be a trend from now on!

Thanks for the skein weez, but I don't think I am gonna hit it this morning. Friday for sure though. With tornado watches in effect and thunderstorms up north, and these high winds, I better just wait. Later.

weekend fishing isn't that much fun anyway, But it still beats work, school and working on your truck!
Ladykiller, You really are a fair weather fisherman!LOL You are probably better off going to school and saving your money. Sunday is a definite go! Rain, sleet or hail won't keep me away from another Easter steelie and a trip with all the boys from High School. Drinks will be flowing and the BS will be deep!!!! Later
