I'm moving to Michigan in the coming weeks and I'd like to have a little work done to one of my shotguns, getting rid of the rock-like factory pad and mounting a Pachmayr Decelerator in it's place. This isn't a huge job but I'd like to find someone competent to do the work, any suggestions?

Default Kalamazoo

You might try On Target Guns and Gunsmithing on West Main, (M-43), just a little west of US 131, Kalamazoo. I've had some stuff done there with mixed results but don't know of any other places close. If you felt like a road trip I've heard nothing but good about Williams Gunsight over in Davison, MI.

Welcome to Michigan!

I have a bandsaw and sander, I did my first stock shorten and recoil pad trim when I was 15 in High School. I'm 50 miles north of Grand Rapids, where Bachelders is in Wyoming and does good work @ 616-459-3636
