Buddy shot this guy at 5 p.m. opening night of firearms season in Jackson County. He was in the middle of a swamp and he came out following a doe and he shot him at 50 yards and dropped him in his tracks. 200 pounds dressed, 169 7/8ths gross. Hopefully there will be more of these guys to come as were trying to get a co-op going. Enjoy!

Wow, what a beast!!! Everything about that rack is just gorgeous. Many congrats to the hunter!!

Do you have an age on that guy? At 200lbs dressed I would say at least 4.5 and maybe 5.5 based on what we se around our place usually.

Haven't gotten him aged yet. I'm guessing 5.5 but we'll see the head is at the taxidermists now, I'll try and find out about the jaw.

Nice buck! Just trying to throttle down now that the season is over, but seeing a buck like that gets me charged up all over again! Like many of you, I'm already dreaming of next fall!
