Deer

I finally got to enjoy my vacation and went out to hunt my property for the first time this year. I climbed in the stand about 7:00 am this morning and started grunting on the A-Way grunt and threw in a couple of doe bleats and at about 8:00 am this buck decided to rise up out of his bed and turned my way after I grunted 1 more time, and came in on a rope to give me a 10 yard shot. He then WALKED! away about 15 yards and laid down in the water. He didn't even know that he was fatally wounded!
He is a small six point rack, but a nice big bodied six,I'm guessing about 175 or 180 lbs.
What a way to start my hunting season.

Thanks Mark,I hope you score when you come back to hunt.
I got this one in my swamp behind the plot about 50 to 60 yrds, not to far.
The plot is doing fine, hardy any weeds just pure clover, but that might change next spring. The deer have been browsing on the clover already. Keeping my fingers crossed..SnS
