Just read an article today about an incident that happened just outside of Reno.
A 13 yr old boy is currently awaiting sentencing after being found guilty of animal cruelty charges. The boy is accused of CUTTING THE EYES OUT OF A YELLOW LAB back in April. The dog was found wandering blind and had to be euthanized.
Can you believe this??

They should cut his eyes out! I can't stand hearing about stuff like that. Where are this kids parents? Not in his life, I'm quite sure of that.

Actually, he was repramanded into his parents custody. What would EVER motivate a 13 yr old to do this to a dog?? This kid is going to need some psychological help, that's for sure. You can tell he obviously hasn't been taken out to the woods and shown how to respect nature. The bizzare thing is that this happened in a small, rural town, where hunting is a normal way of life as oppposed to a big city where you would expect kids not to have been exposed to the great outdoors. ugh!!!

they said somewhere that most serial killers start out by torturing animals. We had a Guy down here by me that killed 7 outdoors people . He used to torture animals also. The trouble is after they caught him he is still breathing.

That is a very SICK thing to do! I have 2 dogs a golden ret and a black lab. How anyone could even think about harming a dog is beyond me. BUT, i wont blame the parents right away, I do believe there are two sides to the story. I would like to hear there side before i bad mouth them. And if they are part of the problem, nail them to the wall as well. The kid needs help Nooooo doubt 'bout that! SICK,SICK,SICK

bonasabuster: I did not know him but he lived about 8 miles from me . Also I did not help him . That was a typo on my part !!!! What pisses me off is he is still breathing. He wrote a letter to Jamie Paxons mom telling how he walked up to him and shot him repeadly and how jamie beged for mercy and he laughed at him and kept shooting him. If ever a person deserved to die he is one of them.

another point
"The dog was found wandering blind and had to be euthanized." Why did they have to euthanized the dog. I bet someone would have loved it and cared for it ?

nah...no time. Plus, there is far more silver in the state then gold. Don't get me wrong, there have been some substantial gold claims in the state, but not for a while. Hence the nickname of Nevada, "The Silver State."
