Question road kill deer

Remove this ad.....

Is it legal to use road kill deer as bait for coyote hunting.I have been getting a different answers, some say yes ,some say no. thanks,Ryan

It is legal to hunt over road kill deer, but you cannot move it without a road kill permit from the police station, for which an accident must have been reported. On occasion I do this and receive the permits from a local sheriffs officer.

Your local CO can give you permission to do this and I would really recommend that.
