The snow didn't hurt, but the rain before the last snow was a major setback in my area.

Just got back home from visiting my stepmother who is undergoing Chemo Therapy. Nice drive down (about 60 mi south of my house) but came through another snow storm on the way back, looking at another 4-7 inches tonight. I think we have had more snow so far this year than we had all winter last year. If it stays like this for the rest of the week I will be looking at the Lake La Su Ann Wildlife Area (just south of the Mi Border) for some Bluegills on ice this weekend.

I was out this morning, Sunset still has pretty good ice, but this rain could ruin that in a hurry. The fishing was slow, but at least it is supposed to get colder again tonight.
