Yeah thanks Steve for setting up this forum. I passed by a few farm ponds yesterday and they were already iced over (I am sure it is a thin layer) and I kind of use these ponds as an indicator of ice quality in the area. I hope this cold weather holds up. Maybe we can be out on the hardwater before Christmas
