That is where i'll be. I have a shapell with little american flag stickers on it, i'm going to spray paint a big star on the back so if you see me stop by. My plan is to go off dnr ramp to the right about a mile or so. Don't know how far i'm gonna go out.

Thats good to hear. I'm taking my dad out sat. morning and he has some trouble getting around. Is the Raft located to the left of the DNR launch and if so are you able to drive to that area? Will be fishing w/ tip-ups for pike mostly but may try for some perch also. Just hoping for a flag or two. If you see smoke and smell venison sausage, thats where we'll be. Good luck!!!!

Default Hot Tip!!!

I'llbeoutside,

Just b4 you get to the DNR launch there is access to the lake. The raft will charge 3 bucks and the DNR is 4 I think. Why pay when you can drive on for free. You can't miss this access, look right when you get past McRay's (Formerly Bud's) and you'll see where everyone's been getting on.

Thanks for the info. I heard that the area behind the Raft was good for pike. Does anyone have any other suggestions. I've fished down by the spillway a few times and haven't had much luck. I don't have a shanty since I usually only make it out on the ice 6-7 times a year. Its nice to be able to take the truck out (I'm covered) when I'm going w/ my dad.
