I'll be out on Saturday morning at Cotton rd. I tried last weekend to contact M-S users and had no success? I'm wondering if my radio is the right kind to talk with everyone. It's a Cobra with 2 mi distance. Is this the correct type of radio? I tried ch. 8.
I'll give it a try this Saturday morning. My calls out to everyone is"ANY M-S.com'ers out there"
Should I change to something else?
Any help would be great.

Garret,
I think you should be able to get in contact with that radio. If you have codes, you want to make sure it is on 0. Good luck. There also could have been no one with a radio on...

I might be out on Sunday. I'm fighting some type of Flu or Sinus infection. This is really taking me down. I haven't fished all week and that is taking me down too.
Going to the Dr. tonight for some Rx.

Garret; I have been out from Cotton Rd. now 3 times and had my radio on ch "8" code "0" all the time I was out on the ice and have called to the Michigan sportsman group and never got anyone. Maybe I was to far away, don't know but I will keep trying. I'm going up to Higgins this week-end. I will try to go back to Cotton Rd. maybe Wed. next week. Weather permitting. Anyone else going on week-days?

Well, we got out there about 3 and stayed till 6:30. Walked out quite a ways past the second preasure crack. Saw some perch at first, then none for a while. Caught 4, kept 2 8 inchers. We would see a few here and there with the ocasional hawg. Tried the radio a few times, but didnt get any replys. The wind was whipping hard when we walked in. Hopefully it will more calm tomorrow, otherwise we might hit fairhaven, or stoney.
Tight Lines!
