Has anyone tried out Lake Orion lately, if so what are the hot spots, any secrets that I should know prior to heading out there, I want to try something different, not just LSC, thanks in advance.

You may want to talk to Ron at Hook, Line and Sinker in
Lk. Orion. He should be able to point you in the right direction.

Good luck and keep us posted on your success.

I have heard some guys are doing well on crappie in the same bay the public launch is on (Indianwood rd, W of M-24). The only bait shop around is downtown. Let us know how you do. I only live a mile away but havn't fished L.O. in years. I did hear that someone took a 6 lb. walleye through the ice.
