Saginaw River

Is action picking up on the river. I fished the first day of Shiver on the River. Haven't been back since. I know it was slooooooooow that day. Am considering going Saturday morning. Just wondering if things have picked up since the rains came through.

I fished this morning and noticed that the water was had a slight stain to it, compared to a few day's. I have been hitting more fish in the past couple of day's since the start of the tournament. I have been fishing over by Ojibway Island the last 3 day's. I guess you can say that it's still a little spotty, but are there, but very picky. I'm no expert on this river by all means, but I learn a little more each time I go out.

I talked with a few people this morning and nobody was catching anything. I picked up 3 small one's, all withing a half hour and lost one nice one on the way up. Wed. morning was the same, but a little slower.
